Gericho performs mostly songs he wrote and produced. However, he also performs covers of songs from his favorite artists and ones he enjoys listening to. When he performs a cover, he strives to present the song in his own interpretation. With the Guardians, he has more help with arrangement, and making the song “Guardian-like.”
Most commonly described as a Pop/R&B artist, the covers that Gericho is known to perform are usually in the Top 40 charts. However, he is not limited to one genre. Often times, The Guardians would put their own spin to an 80’s, country, reggae or rock song. Doing so illustrates the group's’ versatility that Gericho encourages, and is a testament to his vast musical knowledge and exposure.
